Easter fun!

Easter was a great day! We went to church (and Joshua was well behaved 75% of the time), took naps, decorated eggs, had a fun egg hunt, a yummy dinner with great company - Uncle Rob and Cousin Trent, and just all around a fun day sharing our love and having fun together. Can all days be so fun?

Are we normal yet?

After battling the stomach flu for a week - our little Josh is on the mend. We were a little surprised by how much food he ate for breakfast - and then smiled at each other...Joshua's back in da house.

Love Makes Us Grow

A few days ago, my mom sent a simple and short email that said that someone had once told her in a time of sorrow that "When you choose to love you choose to hurt" and then she added her own words of hope that "May we all choose to love for therein is the joy and growth of this life."

So, I've been thinking - Since God is no respector of persons and His love and concern for each of us is the same - why do we in our humanness draw lines of distinction and pride between us?

And so my thoughts lately and for you today is - Judge not and teach yourself to see others as God sees them. Love them and even if it hurts sometimes, you'll be stronger and learn to see the fulness of joy and God's love in every day.

I like hunting for eggs - but not the Easter Bunny

This past weekend was all about Spring fun...Joshua got to go hunting for his Easter eggs - which he loved! Unfortunately, the closest we came to the Easter Bunny without terrified screams was about 5 feet to his back :)
