Armstrong Family 2009

How much fun can you cram into one week with your family? Let's see: family pictures, riding horses, riding tractors, swinging on swings, jumping on the trampoline, rolling on the grass, jumping into the pool or hot tub, feeding the ducks, going to Lagoon, watching movies, making 'dirt' cups, playing basketball, playing on the rocking horse, eating food and more food, staying up late to chat, rocking my new baby as I enjoy a morning walk in fresh air, drinking the fresh mountain water, watching out for snakes, having a luau, eating some more, blessing a sweet baby, talking some more, eating some more...notice that sleep was not mentioned :) It's all about the fun and family. We love the Armstrongs!

Celebrating the 4th

Red, white, and blue :) We love our country and had a great time celebrating in our local neighborhood children's parade. Also, Creston worked with the civic club to post flags on all of the street lamps in the neighborhood. God Bless America!

June Flew By :)

June absolutely flew by at our house this year. Getting adjusted to having 2 kiddos has been both challenging and rewarding. We loved having Grandma Louise come and visit and she helped with so many projects and Joshua just loved, loved, loved her.

Joshua is our little fish and is learning to swim incredibly fast - which amazes us. Two months ago, he hated water poured down his face in the tub, now he jumps into the pool and can paddle and dive and do all sorts of tricks. He's fearless.

Reese is a sweetie pie and as you'll see from the pictures, getting cute and chubby. She's six weeks old today and now only requires one feeding during the night so we are much more well-rested parents. :) Truly, she is a gentle blessing in our family and it melts our hearts to see how tenderly Joshua kisses her head and talks baby talk to her.

Business is a great wheel of motion that keeps turning and we couldn't be happier to now have Creston full-time in real estate and loving every minute of it. Yes, there's still some late nights after putting kiddos to bed, but that balances with slower mornings of enjoying breakfast together as a family unhurried.
