March was a whirlwind of fun for our family! In addition to all of the Easter eggs and hunting, we took Joshua to his first rodeo and his first trip to the zoo. He is definitely a growing and busy boy - eating almost everything in site and trying his climbing abilities on every piece of furniture :( This is obviously a little scary at times. He dives face first down the slides at home and at the playground. In fact, this took Creston a little off-guard his last trip to the park. He was playing with Joshua and Joshua was on the highest platform - not where Creston was...and lickity split - Joshua turned and headed - literally head-first down the big twisting slide. It had rained the day before so splish-splash - Joshua dove through the water puddle at the bottom and landed in the 'sand' (tiny pebbly rocks). Creston was not in a position to catch him - although I can picture him doing his own set of diving maneuvers trying to. No fear - no tears, just plain old busy boy fun! I think it almost gave Creston a heart attack :(
