Surprise Grandma and Grandpa Armstrong!

Okay - well only my mom was truly the surprised one. :) But, in any event, it was perfect timing because my grandma Kathleen Thornock was down in Farmington staying for a visit so we got to see her too!

Joshua is on the loose at G&G Armstrongs and all about the cars, trucks, tractors, and anything adventurous. He's not quite as addicted to Disney's Cars movie which means that he wants again to be on the go about 24-7. Okay, maybe 18-7? What fun he had with his cousins Nelly, Briggs, and Joseph!

Creston treated Joshua to getting to feed the horses. He also got to 'drive' the backhoe and push the snow out of the way - I guess in preparation for the snow storms they've had this week :) See, even a 2 year-old can be helpful sometimes.

Uncle Jonathan topped it off with a visit to his fire department in Highland - Nelly and Joshua got to take turns on the ambulance stretcher and so much more. Truly Joshua was in awe of the experience and he loves when I tell him stories about his fun time there.

Utah Surprise Trip

Surprise Grandma and Grandpa Inderrieden!

Posted by Picasa

We arrived on Thursday night to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Inderrieden for a quick visit to Utah. Grandma Louise just kept saying, "What are you doing here?" and Grandpa John did a few double takes when he saw Creston in his kitchen. Just a surprise visit to play. What a great time!

December Fun in 2008

The holidays were so fun with Joshua this year - he 'gets it.' He loved decorating the tree, taking treats to our friends and neighbors, the Christmas lights in the neighborhood (he'd beg, 'more, more' when driving home), the snow in Houston (what?), popping popcorn, making our gingerbread house (candy), listening to Christmas music, and reading about the nativity and Jesus and other Christmas stories. What a blessed time of year to reflect on all we've been given and share it with others! We also got to go home to Utah and enjoy our grandparents time and love. What fun!
